The Water Utility will be conducting hydrant flushing starting October 21, 2024 in the Lake Mohawk, Highlands, and Sunset Lake water systems. Flushing will occur between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. We anticipate completing the program in four (4) weeks. Flushing should not disrupt service but sporadic water discoloration may occur and we caution you to watch your laundry water while the program is in effect. If problems should arise, please contact the Sparta Township Water Utility at 973-729-7133 between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm.
