Sparta Township’s Public Works Department will be picking up residents’ used Christmas trees this holiday season beginning on Thursday, January 5th. No additional branches or tree parts will be collected at this time.
The trees must be bare with no stands, ornaments, lights, tinsel, bags, etc. Please be sure to secure your tree off the street and along the curb for collection.
Christmas trees must be put out at the curb
NO LATER THAN January 19th, 2026 7am
Trees put out later than this date will not be picked up by the Township.
